HWiNFO64 CPU Die (Average) Spike?

The Debug File might show me some more details in this case but it's unable to tell what other software might be causing this.
AMD Adrenalin is not using LHM but several other software (e.g. FanControl) are using it.
Could you please tell me how to determine if the software uses LHW? I'll check the running software or services to find out.

Hi, I also keep getting strange values like this. I'm wondering if they're real or if it's a hiccup on HWInfo's part? I'm a little worried about the hardware.

Oddly, the RAM clock rates are also displayed at an increased level, as are values like FCLK uclock and various voltages.

I've also noticed that these strange spikes occur much more frequently and are also worse with the 9950X3D than with the previous 7950X3D.

System is a
Asus ProArt X870E 1303
R9 9950X3D
96GB Corsair 2x48GB 6400CL32@6000CL30
Arctic Cooling Freezer 3 420AIO
HW Info 8.24

those readings are really not normal!
cpu_vddcr 2.045?
cpu_vddcr_soc 1.747?
if the readings are correct, that processor won't last long.

Iam sure its a hikkup, many values are normal, but when the hikkup come, its 50% more or 100% more. Its very good to see with the ram. 3000 4500 and in rare times 6000. I know when the SOC voltage go over 1,4v or 1.5v its a instantkill. like from the OC video from roman/der8auer on the 7xxx

I'll add to the chorus. I'm seeing weird spikes in some voltages and temperatures, but everything is running properly and temps are great. I'm using an Asus X870e Apex with the latest BIOS.

The only other software I am using is FanControl, which is taking some HWInfo64 values as input. I'm not doing any overclocking or such, just got the MB somewhat recently and set most things as default during my testing.

Two days ago it happened to me again, I was using ryzen master, on one monitor ryzen master stayed on, on the other there was some you tube video I was watching, suddenly ryzen master went crazy, nailed almost all values at max to red, and hwinfo reported cpu iod hotspot of 400c.Just checked other parameters carefully, all were fine, voltage parameters were normal, everything except CPU IOD HOTSPOT was ok.
Again, I am bitten by the worm of doubt whether it is a telemetry error, or whether the processor really sticks to this Asrock board when it is idle.

Asus x870e Hero , 9800x3d , 8000Mhz DDR5 GSKILL RAMS 48GB . I'm also experiencing meaningless voltage spikes. Cpu Vddcr_soc Voltage peaks 1.353V, Memory clock 4000 to 4363.6 Mhz, FCLK AND UCLK 2000 to 2181.8 Mhz. At the same time, the CPU vddcr_soc voltage continues to appear as 1.240 on hwmonitor. Bios 1504 (Updated AGESA to ComboAM5 PI 1.2.0.3d) I am in Expo 1 mode. (I changed Trefi 65535 and Trfc 656 manually.) I manually entered CPU SOC VOLTAGE as 1.24V in BIOS and didn't change anything else. Is this a bug?

Hi, new here just want to share that I've been getting abnormal high readings especially CPU IOD Hotspot. And I've been able to consistently get it at this point. I think I will rule out issue with the hardware and think it's readings error because it is conssitent exactly same Temp of 462.9C. If it was hardware issue idt it will be the exact same readings on many different days? Like if it was 100 then 200 another day I would've been worry but for me at least is exactly 462.9C everytime.

Will like to thank all the Dev/staff their effort as well.

Hi,
I have the opposite with my 9800X3D.
I am on Asus strixe-e X670.

If I set Vsoc at 1.2V in bios « CPU VDDR SOC » is well stable around 1,2V.
But value reported by nuvoton « CPU SOC » which is a measurement elsewhere on the motherboard than directly on CPU , shows between 1.25V and 1,36V.
Those values are also shown in bios (reported value) on the same line than entered bios value. So it is not a HWinfo problem, but probably the behavior on VRM with 9800X3D.

If I use my 7800X3D on exactly same board , same bios, etc…. »CPU VDDR SOC » is always 50mV below CPU SOC (nuvoton).
This is well explained because on my board there is no die sense , only socket sense.

But with 9800X3D, delta is higher….
I don’t understand why.
I use 8.28.

Hello, I'd like to add my experience just today - happened twice while trying to launch L-Connect 3

9950X3D and MSI X670E Carbon Wifi on 7D70v1O2:

CPU Die, voltages and core current are very suspicious. Not to mention how FCLK and UCLK doubled, and VRM temps spiked too

Did that happen only because of L-Connect 3? Are you using the latest version of L-Connect 3?
I can confirm I only encountered this specific issue twice, and both times were after installing and booting L-Connect 3 today, the latest version. I have now uninstalled it and restarted my PC several times since, and despite a 250 ms polling rate, haven't encountered it again
