HWiNFO64 CPU Die (Average) Spike?

This small increase might be different from those double readings discussed mostly in this thread. I can reproduce such smaller peaks when running HWiNFO along with LibreHardwareMonitor, which is also used by some other tools like FanControl. If you experience such issues, try to run HWiNFO without any other such tool.
We need more testing and reports.

Then these small increases are not to be taken seriously? Because i dont use neither LibreHardwareMonitor nor FanControl. Apart from that no more double readouts for me in the current version and in the Beta. Thank you for all your effort, its greatly appreciated!

Hi all, thanks for sharing your issues here, I still see the issue with CPU Die.
It might be good to know I have the Asus ROG STRIX B650E-F GAMING WIFI, a cooler is Noctua NH-D15, the latest BIOS, and tested a couple of scenarios with Ryzen 7800x3d. I had to share this one since I am concerned it might cause damage to other components.
Worth mentioning is that previously I had a Ryzen 7600x, and with that one, I never saw are red value, all the temps were below 80 degrees under full load.
Also, this only happens when I play certain games like Helldivers 2, or Dying Light 2.
What I did to try and fix this was set the temperature limit to 85 degrees in the BIOS, and the only thing I noticed is that it does not happen as frequently as before, but it is still happening.
Do you think it might be good to contact the shop where I got the CPU since it is still under warranty? And what are my options for making sure that the CPU does not die :/ or damage other components?

You should try the latest beta version of HWiNFO64

Hi Zach, I took your advice, and since that, I have not seen the issue again.
Also worth mentioning, I had a couple of gaming sessions with Helldiver 2 and Dying Light 2, where previously I would see temps go beyond 130 deg. Now the CPU Die stays below 80, in most cases less than the CPU temp.

I remembered that I had my Power Plan set to Ultra Performance, with the previous CPU, and after some digging around, the performance for gaming was not at all different between High, and Ultra. So I switch it to High... Maybe this had something to do as well, but my knowledge of that is not that technical so pls correct me if I am wrong
I will be back with an update after a couple of weeks to confirm that the temp is stable.
Current temps look like this:
Cpu ryzen 7 7700
Mobo:asus tuf gaming b650 plus (up to date)
Hwinfo version.. up to date (not beta

Hmm, interesting. Does AMD read those values when HWiNFO is not running?
No, it's always zero. Tried after restart with no other applications that can read sensors running.
I have the current version of HWiNFO (v8.06-5500) on a 5950x with a Tomahawk x570 and I keep getting this high readings on the CPU Die. They come along with a high Frequency read as well. Is this a misread that I shouldn't worry about? I don't use any other monitoring or fan controlling software.
Make sure your chipset drivers are updated. I have not had this issue in a long time as long as my chipset drivers are updated. This is an issue with AMD but your Cpu should be fine.
I have a 5900X and had those double readings exactly as you are having (CPU temps and some frequencies). Nothing to worry about, its just false CPU reporting.
Currently I have (still) the 8.03-5455 version of HWiNFO and those x2 readings never showed up again.
I do have the latest chipset drivers though and Win11 Home updated too.
Did you ever updated the board BIOS/UEFI version?
I've updated my chipset drivers (apparently I didn't have the most recent version) to 6.07.22.037 (most recent version), updated my BIOS a few weeks ago to 7C84v1G (though literally a new one popped 3 days ago, 7C84V1H) and have version 8.06-5500 of HWiNFO and still having these reporting high readings:

Kinda of a hassle since I'll have to uninstall it. I use it to tune my GPU's fan speed but I don't have Ryzen Master or tune anything CPU-related. Since I saw artlck has his HWiNFO running with Adrenalin and his reporting got fixed I was hoping I could keep up both running. Is it possible to run Debug mode on HWiNFO and figure out this way if it's LibreHardwareMonitor being used by Adrenalin that's causing the issue?
