I was playing monster hunter world (I use the texture pack too came by dlc, so it takes around 10gb VRAM), but, as stated earlier, I play with frame limiter because of my monitor is 100hz maximum. Gpu usage is never maxed out.Would be a waste of electricity and more heat otherwise for me.What game is this?
Looks like its not consistently loading the GPU. Only 58.5% average GPU utilization.
If GPU load has large fluctuations then I think its normal to have bigger spikes.
I usually have 90+% average GPU utilization, so the load is more stable and so the power.
You do have low power consumption. Its only 163W by average.I was playing monster hunter world (I use the texture pack too came by dlc, so it takes around 10gb VRAM), but, as stated earlier, I play with frame limiter because of my monitor is 100hz maximum. My only concern are those bigger spikes and delta between tbp and the max power. I was expecting a low electric usage by not pushing higher the GPU too.
Okay, just those spoikes are recurring. You do have low power consumption. Its only 163W by average.
The 251W is the average spike peaks not the avg power of the card.
just tried my new sapphire pulse 9070XT, the GPU max power is weird, the stock TBP is 304W and with stock setting or -50mV undervolting, my peak power is constantly hitting 500W whenever I try run 3D mark. It seems impossible even for spike to got 200W higher than the TBP cap? espeically with only 2x 8pin connection. Any idea where that reading comes from?Hello Zach, thank you for your reply.
Mine seems to be spiking most of all the time during gameplay session.
I undervolted and lowered the clock to the stock stated on Sapphire, we use the same card.
Now I opened the game and the max valure is constant at around 200 - 220 W meanwhile TBP to 141W.
I will try to undervolt slightly more.
