[SOLVED] When right clicking on an item and hiding, it will hide an entire category instead of the single item you wanted to hide.

So I like to hide certain data in hwinfo from showing, to clean up and minimize data shown, previously I used to be able to just click a single item, hide and that was that, but now with the latest version (not sure when it started) when I do this, it will remove an entire category and mess up the data in the list unfortunately. Is there a fix for this?

Sorry but I can't reproduce this problem.
Maybe there's something messed-up in your configuration? Try to do a "Restore Original Order" in sensor settings or re-enable the "Fixed order".

Tried that! It's very weird, as I've never seen this before either. I've been running with the same config file for like the last 10 years, maybe I will just try doing a fresh install and redo my config, I'll report back.
