SMBus Lock error with ICue 5.29.103

ICue unfortunately auto-updated yesterday and I am now receiving the attached error. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the previous version, but the installer seems to automatically pull the latest version now instead of being a specific version. I've put in a ticket with Corsair as well to see how to proceed but I thought I would let you know. I have a 6mb DBG file as well but the system will not let me upload it here. I already have the Corsair/Asetek support disabled and have never had this issue until icue auto-updated to this latest version.

I turned off SMBus Support in the main settings on the SMBus/I2C tab. What am I losing by turning this off, because it seems to keep this error from occuring?

Depends on mainboard but usually you'll lose DIMM information and monitoring and on some boards also sensors.
Why not report the problem to Corsair?

I did, and they told me to uninstall hwinfo, Alienware fx, and logi options+, and that this was a problem that you needed to fix which I immediately argued back that this never occurred until this icue update.

I tried rolling the icue install back to 4.33 and my profile backups weren’t compatible with that old of a version.

My board is the Aorus x570 master. Do you happen to know what I would be losing monitor-wise there?

Oh, that's "great" support... Blaming others for their problems. iCUE is a well known "masterpiece"...

DIMM info, DIMM sensors and VRM sensors.

100% agreed. They wanted to close the ticket and I asked them about escalating it to support for root cause analysis, and he replied that I needed to turn off Corsair and Asetek support, which I had already told them when I originally opened their ticket. They still have not responded back to that other than stating that he hopes he has helped me enough.

If it is only the Dimms/Sensors, and VRM sensors, I already have iCUE monitoring that for the fan speeds.

I think it is pretty safe to say that they've helped me make the decision to never purchase any of their icue related products at the very least, if anything from their product catalog at all.

I was able to roll back to 8.26 and don’t receive the PCI locks any longer, that I am aware of but wanted to show you this as well. They will not let this go as being your issue no matter what I tell them.
