[Solved] OSD Overlay appears on programs where it shouldn't: OSD ≠ OSD (RTSS)

Hello,
having used HWINFO64 for ages. Thank You so much for this gem!

I've noticed that while running the program Fan Control the overlay appears in the fan control settings window which I'd like to see only in games in combo with RTSS. When I disable the overlay in settings it vanishes. There are more programs where this happens. What can I do make the overlay appear only im Games?

It's not possible to universally determine if an application is a game or something else. One can only make assumptions. So is the targeting of the OSD..
You can change targeting of the OSD in Sensor settings - OSD.

I've seen this button and disabled it already resulting in the readings appearing on the desktop. So if I understood you right I have to disable the overlay while on desktop and enable it when gaming. Is it possible to achieve this via a shortcut?

Thank you very much, just defined a toggle hotkey and it does the trick. The OSD value is shown on Desktop as well as Ingame.

Update: I've obviously confused 'OSD' with 'OSD (RTSS)'. The OSD (RTSS) works independently from OSD.

When 'Enable OSD ' is off the Ingame OSD (RTSS) with all the sensors is still present.
'Enable OSD' just shows one sensor in Fan Control window and too in Ingame which I've accidentally enabled (Position: 1) .

So as far as I can see HWINFO64 can show data on the one hand via 'Enable OSD' on Desktop and Ingame on the other hand solely Ingame via 'OSD RTSS'.
