problem with cpu fan speed on z390 9700k

hello, i have a problem with the cpu fan speed sensor on msi tomahawk z390, intel 9700k, win10 22h2 and hwinfo 8.26, it jump from 1200 RPM to 2500 or 9000 despite of the fan not changing his speed

also not sure why it is grey sometimes, i attached a video of the problem, thanks

The fan seems to provide erratic data. Make sure that the cabling is OK. Fan monitoring also might not be working properly when using a Y-splitter.

hey thanks i dont have splitter, i checked in the bios and it was behaving erratic too there, i switched from PWM to DC fan control in bios and now it work perfectly!
