SMBus-User

I use the SMBus to communicate with various devices. I have no access to the SMBus at all on a PC. HWiNFO v8.14 can access the SMBus on this PC. After using HWiNFO, my accesses to the SMBus also work. Does anyone have an idea why my accesses fail without HWiNFO?
