Well, I was going to make a post here about how hwinfo sometimes takes an excessively long time to boot up, but I just got a notification to update hwinfo, so I did.
Seems 8.12 latest update has a feature to detect external apps that are blocking hwinfo which can lead to long boot up. Thank you. MSI Center (CC_Engine_x64.exe) was locked up and using 100% cpu of 1 core. Ended task on it, and it allowed hwinfo to boot up quickly.
So thanks for fixing an issue/bringing attention to the cause before I had to make a post about it, now you get a thank you post.
