What do you have your refresh interval set to? Also, please make sure you add an exception to "C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Temp\HWiNFOMonitor.log".  Perhaps your A/V software is blocking access to this file.

Glad you got it going. I assume there is a config issue with your web browser then.  The file is a .rmskin, not .zip.  So you should just be able to open it and the install should happen without needing to do anything else. Thanks for mentioning the work-around in case others have the same...

No, its caused the the gadget no longer being able to launch that application by itself when it opens.  It is independent of HWiNFO.  Something on your system is likely preventing the script from running that action.  Perhaps a Windows or Anti-Virus update?
