I think cpu usage is broken again

When I used 7.44 and noted the almost zero CPU usage, linked to the thread where I posted a screenshot, I had the resource monitor open in Windows 11 at the same time. It reported what I would have assumed to be more typical CPU usage, somewhat confirmed by vcore, temp and fan usage. When I made...

I think cpu usage is broken again

I noted the problem after I updated from 7.42 to this latest 7.44 build. Not noting this thread I reported it here.... Problem with 7.44 build Now I have changed to this...... it seems to work as it did previously....... Hopefully I used the right values to change, and show OSD...

    HWiNFO v7.44 released

Thanks for letting me know. I checked the above change notes and did not notice anything that I would recognise as accounting for that change. All changed back now and working as I wish it to :) Well not really, as it turns out. But the thread you linked contains all the relevant information.

    HWiNFO v7.44 released

Thanks for the update, I had build 7.42 5030 and all was well................ however when updating to this latest build, updates been done many times previously with zero issues.................................. for some unknown reason, to me anyway, the CPU displayed usage is very much...

HWiNFO and fresh install of Windows 11

works a treat, thanks for that. Seems somewhat obvious o use but I did save the working reg file from my W10 build and used that to restore the functionality I use. At this point I would only guess to assume that may have been ticked but not restored. anyway, working now so thanks again :)

HWiNFO and fresh install of Windows 11

Thanks, good idea :) I did that and indeed it now delays for 30 seconds before starting the program.... I can tell that it still doesn't work as the CPU temp isn't in the tray.... manually starting the sensors then provide.... you can now see the CPU temp at 21c. That would also mean...

HWiNFO and fresh install of Windows 11

Hi I had been running an upgraded version of Windows 11, from a Windows 10 build. All was well with HWiNFO in combination with Afterburner and Rivatuner. That meant all the sensor settings would display as liked when using the defined Scroll Key as the shortcut to enable them.... so all was...

    VCCSA or VCCIO reporting...?

Ah thanks for that. A little surprising as the basic MSI 690 Pro (non WiFi) does have that sensor, cheaper board. But it is a brand thing.

    VCCSA or VCCIO reporting...?

Hi just to check that I'm not missing the info, can't find it, but with a Gigabyte Aorus Elite Z690 motherboard I do not see information in regards to the VCCSA voltages in particular.... is it just not possible on this motherboard to monitor and report such voltages...? Within the CPU...

    Reporting issue or actual......................?

Much more elegant, and correct throughout the speed range of the CPU......... excellent. since noting I have seen other screenshots showing similar values as mine did., via Google search. Either it is not important or the user is not aware of how they can be rounded. Thanks again, most...

    Reporting issue or actual......................?

ah, thanks for that........................... so adding the BCLK value and increasing the default digits shown it now reveals the 99.951Mhz and not rounded to 100Mhz. Ok I now understand that the Mhz shown of the P and E cores are the actual values based on a Bus Clock speed of 99.951Mhz...

    Reporting issue or actual......................?

Hi Before I updated from my Z390 Master and 9900k I used HWiNFO64 to note my core clock speeds, no issues. Sine changing to a Z690 chipset board and 12700k I have noted..... what I am referring to is the reported bus clock of 100Mhz and then the P Cores are set to 51 and the E Cores set to...

Both GPU and CPU package powers combined......

Hello I have a Z390 Master motherboard (9900k at 5Ghz) and a MSI 3070 GPU. They are the main two components of power usage and I have enabled, also via the RTSS display, to show the CPU Package Power and then the GPU power. That will give me a separate Wattage of power draw in two lines whilst...
