Its all there, but yeah, if you're not interested in learning/reading more of the what is what, then it might not be for you. It's just like cars, some like simple rpm/speed readings while others crave for more, and want to understand what is under the hood and learn how to tweak the individual...

Yep. But they won't. It took many ppl complaining to get this flawed version, I don't see them re-opening this. The project is very Linux oriented, and the devs don't care much about Windows specific issues.
OpenRGB has a "share SMBus access" option in the settings for this. Its a bit flawed and can increase CPU usage slightly on weak CPU (should be fine on yours), but you might want to give it a shot.
For the record, RAM is the most common to use SMBus. Other devices might also use it.
Also. Corsair use their own data bus for some devices. Disabling SMBus will not fix conflicts of that nature.
