    HWiNFO v8.21-5660 Beta released

No big deal and yes, understandable that not everything is made public. Just found it odd that nothing new was listed.

Hi Martin, what changed vs 5655? The changes listed are exactly the same.

hwinfo is way more complex than people make you believe

@Martin , can you lock this thread and ban this clown? Seems like HWinfo is too advanced for him and it made him mad and bitter

hwinfo is way more complex than people make you believe

Its all there, but yeah, if you're not interested in learning/reading more of the what is what, then it might not be for you. It's just like cars, some like simple rpm/speed readings while others crave for more, and want to understand what is under the hood and learn how to tweak the individual...

Monitor is flashing off and on when GPU is engaged

You did not give much details. System specs? OS version? Resolution, refresh rate, VRR on, HDR on? Also, posting on Guru3d migh be an idea, this definitely look GPU related

    Have you tried another cable?

    Memory reporting is off

Yep. But they won't. It took many ppl complaining to get this flawed version, I don't see them re-opening this. The project is very Linux oriented, and the devs don't care much about Windows specific issues.

    Memory reporting is off

OpenRGB has a "share SMBus access" option in the settings for this. Its a bit flawed and can increase CPU usage slightly on weak CPU (should be fine on yours), but you might want to give it a shot.

    Why HwInfo uses SMBUS?

For the record, RAM is the most common to use SMBus. Other devices might also use it. Also. Corsair use their own data bus for some devices. Disabling SMBus will not fix conflicts of that nature.
